Does it work on ethnic skin?
HydroPro-X will work differently on different skin types. It is formulated specifically to work on a wide range of skin types, including ethnic skin. All of our customers report a significant degree of lightening but each experience is unique. Typically results come within 6-8 weeks of usage.
- How long does it take to see results?
Based on our 8-year data collection and analysis, most customers see results within 6 Weeks of consistent usage. Changes in the tone and texture of the skin come as early as Week 1 with a more permanent change coming around Week 4.
- If I have oily skin, would it increase breakouts?
Absolutely not. The formula was designed to use a very light oil which blends with the oil your skin produces naturally. This effect delivers Vitamin C and Retinoic Acid to the lower layers of your skin and effectively regulates the product of sebum by oil glands. It’s hard to imagine using an oil to treat acne, which is a condition due to overproduction of oil, but trust us it just works!

What about dry skin?
If you have dry or sensitive skin, you may find that hydroquinone causes further dryness or irritation. This usually tapers off as your skin adjusts to the ingredient. Using a high quality moisturizer will definitely help with this. Remember, hydrated skin is happy skin. Happy skin will bring you results quicker and of a better quality.

Is it OK to go out into the sun with it on?
No. HydroPro-X should not be worn in direct sunlight for more than 10 minutes at a time. If you’re anticipating going outdoors for more than 10 minutes in direct sunlight, then you should only use it at night on those days. We always recommend you use a high SPF (Sun protection factor) sunscreen when venturing out.
Possible side effects and risks
To date, hydroquinone is deemed safe in the United States. There isn’t any clinical evidence currently to suggest that hydroquinone is harmful to humans. However, minor side effects are still possible. It may cause a temporary uptick in redness or dryness at first, especially if you have sensitive skin. These effects should fade as your skin becomes used to the product.
