Ingredients

1) Hydroquinone 2%

Hydroquinone (quinol) USP is the active ingredient in HydroPro-X. Hydroquinone is considered the gold standard in skin lightening by dermatologists around the world for over 20 years. It is classified by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as safe for topical use in humans as GRASE, generally recognized as safe and effective. It is the only compound that is clinically recognized to lighten the skin. HydroPro-X contains up to 2% Hydroquinone USP.

2) Retinoic Acid 0.005%

Retinoic Acid (tretinoin) is a Vitamin A derivative which helps to rejuvenate your skin from within. It is a metabolite of vitamin A1 (all-trans-retinol) that mediates the functions of vitamin A1 required for growth and development. The retinoids in HydroPro-X is absorbed through the skin and act like little messengers that accelerate cellular regeneration and turnover. This effect increases the formation of new cells in the dermis and renews your skin. This will visibly reduce the look of fine and wrinkles. Coupled with the simultaneous reduction of pigment through Hydroquinone action it increases the speed of lightening the skin-tone. Retinol is chemically slightly different than Retinoic Acid. One is an alcohol and the other, an organic acid. Even so, it produces the same effect when topically applied to the skin. It speeds up cellular rejuvenation.

3) Vitamin C 7%

It is tough to create a product that is both potent and hypoallergenic. We achieved this by incorporating natural alternatives to harsh chemical preservatives. Vitamin C is derived from citrus fruits and is a very good preservative as well a natural skin lightener.

4) Vitamin E 3%

Vitamin E or Tocopherols are fat soluble, naturally occurring compounds that are essential for healthy, glowing skin. With topical application, over time it aids in absorbing reactive oxygen species (ROS) that prevent free radical surface-damage to the skin. Vitamin E accumulates in the membranes of skin cells which provides a natural UV-protective layer.

4) Light Organic-Oil Base

We wanted to create a product that's extremely effortless, and easy to wear. That's exactly why we chose to use a serum base instead of a cream or gel. A serum has only a few but essential ingredients. This reduces the possible interaction of the active with other components. It also reduces adverse side effects and the chances of allergic reaction. The advantage of having an organic oil-based product is that it absorbs into the skin very easily and actually prevents it from drying out. Hydrated skin lightens quicker and is less prone to scarring or post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (PIH). It only takes approximately 5 minutes to sink in completely and leaves your skin supple and smooth. Therefore, it's very lightweight and does not make your skin greasy or clog pores. You can even wear it under makeup!
