Retinoic Acid

Retinoic Acid (tretinoin) is a Vitamin A derivative which helps to rejuvenate your skin from within. It is a metabolite of vitamin A1 (all-trans-retinol) that mediates the functions of vitamin A1 required for growth and development. The retinoids in HydroPro-X is absorbed through the skin and act like little messengers that accelerate cellular regeneration and turnover. This effect increases the formation of new cells in the dermis and renews your skin. This will visibly reduce the look of fine and wrinkles. Coupled with the simultaneous reduction of pigment through Hydroquinone action it increases the speed of lightening the skin-tone. Retinol is chemically slightly different than Retinoic Acid. One is an alcohol and the other, an organic acid. Even so, it produces the same effect when topically applied to the skin. It speeds up cellular rejuvenation.
